Intercollegiate athletes are only permitted to compete in the Competitive division (a.k.a All or Nothing) for the sport they play collegiately. � No intercollegiate athlete, on a team roster, may compete in any intramural sport league while their sport is in season. However, because of their skill level and competitive nature, there are some restrictions and stipulations regarding their participation. Intercollegiate Athlete Participation Intercollegiate athletes are always encouraged to participate in ASI Recreation Intramural Sport Leagues. Proper footwear and attire is required and shirts must always be worn – including under ASI Recreation – provided jerseys. TAPING OF JEWELRY TO THE BODY IS NOT PERMITED. This includes, but is not limited to earrings, wedding rings or bands, other rings, mouth facial, and body piercings, necklaces, bracelets, rubber bands, Armstrong (and similar) bracelets, and metal barrettes. Equipment NO JEWELRY IS ALLOWED with exception of medical alert jewelry, which must be taped down. Captains’ meetings are brief, important, informational sessions involving discussion of sport rules and league rule changes, eligibility, schedules, and a question/answer period.

#BAYCARD CSUEB REGISTRATION#

The time for each sports Captains’ Meeting is posted inside of the RAW Center display case and are printed on the Intramurals Sports League Registration Form. Captains’ Meetings For all league sports, team captains (or another team representative) must attend that sport’s MANDATORY CAPTAINS’ MEETING. Other captain’s duties and responsibilities are detailed in the sections that follow. Captains are responsible for getting game schedules from the ASI Recreation Office before the leagues scheduled start date.

The captain will be the only player on a team who discusses the game situations with officials. at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled contest to ensure games start and finish on time.

All players must check in with their CSUEB Bay card or state or government issued I.D. Prior to game time, the captain is responsible for ensuring their entire team is checked in with the Intramural score’s table. Intramural Sports Leagues Rules and Regulations Team Captain’s Responsibilities The captain is responsible for informing his/her team of these Intramural Rules and Regulations, specific sport rules, and the times and locations they will play their games.
